Yusoff read in Chambers with Messrs Mohd Khamil & Co (Ampang) in 2003 and gained his experience in corporate works when was attached to corporate division and assisted the Partners in numerous due diligence exercises and in numerous exclusive privatisation projects undertaken by the firm, predominantly privatization of Port of Mina Salman, Kingdom of Bahrain.

In 2004 Yusoff joined Messrs VP Nathan & Partners (KL) and focused his works in insurance law. In 2006 Yusoff joined Messrs S.G. Lingam & Co (KL) as a partner and was entrusted to head Insurance Claim Department where he was principally handling litigation matters specializing in defence works for general insurance claim involving bodily injury claims arising out of motor vehicle accident, workplace accident, theft claim, fire claim and few medical negligence suits.

In 2008 Yusoff took a break from legal practice and joined Maybank Investment Bank Berhad (formerly known as ‘Aseambankers Malaysia Berhad’) and was attached to Islamic Capital Market division that was newly set-up. In 2010 Maybank Investment Bank closed down its Islamic Capital Market division and Yusoff resumed his legal practice at S.G. Lingam & Co.

Prior co-founding Suhaidi Yusoff & Partners in June 2018 this year, Yusoff was a partner-in charge for Kajang Branch of Khairul A & Co (2014-2018) handling civil and criminal litigation as well as property transactions and other conveyancing works. Yusoff is also a Syarie Lawyer (Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur) and is well-versed in Islamic family law, Islamic property, Islamic finance and Takaful.
