Ros has 18 years of experience as a litigator and has a deep interest in intellectual property (IP) which led her to further studies in IP law and obtained her Master of Laws in Intellectual Property (LL.M) in 2011. Ros specializes in drafting, reviewing, vetting, and negotiating technology licenses, software and hardware agreements, standard legal documents, service level agreements, and managing disputes relating to Intellectual Property.

Ros advises companies of the potential and prevailing risk exposure from a legal point of view and timely recommends an appropriate course of action to be instituted for the best interest of the company. Ros proposes appropriate mechanisms to actively regulate and monitor potential and imminent inherited risk and exposure from legal aspects of the company’s business operations. Ros has a keen interest in Contract Law, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Industrial Relations, Construction Law, Shipbuilding, Aviation, Automotive and IP Law.

Ros completed her pupillage with Messrs Chan & Associates and practiced with them. Then, she joined Messrs Nora S.W. Lam & Associates focusing in banking litigation followed by Messrs Kheng Hoe & Partners (as a Partner) for 5 years enabling her to acquire in depth knowledge and skills in general litigation. She then moved to automotive industries as in-house counsel at Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (“PERODUA”) actively involved in corporate drafting and automotive IP internationally. Later, Ros joined Messrs Khairul A. & Co (as a Partner) managing Shah Alam’s Branch with Nor Hasneyyatil-Habibah before opened up with other partners under the new name of Messrs Suhaidi Yusoff & Partners in June 2018. Ros representing and defending public listed companies in international (claimed involved USD 5 million) and local arbitration proceedings (claimed involved RM 4 million), court disputes for breach of contract (claimed involved RM 1 million above), companies winding up, industrial relations, torts and settlement arrangements. Ros also represented business owners and individuals in intellectual property matters which currently focusing in Fashion Law.

​Ros cares about educating young generation and enabling them to grow. Ros has been invited to give talks at Malaysia universities in intellectual property and laws.
